1914 – born in Yerevan.

1934 - graduated from Art College, named after P.Terlemezyan, Yerevan.

1936 - admitted to the Fine Arts, named after I.Repin of the Art Academy, Leningrad.
Since 1967 – Honored artist of Armenia.

Was awarded several prizes:

1936 - First Prize in Caucasian Art Exhibition.
1946 - Second Prize in the competition, dedicated to the image of Komitas in Armenian Fine Arts,
2000 – died in Yerevan.

Since 2002 – for four times his paintings have been presented at the Christie's auction in London and included in the British and Continental Pictures catalog.

 

The works are kept in NGA (Yerevan), Tretyakov gallery and Fine Arts Museum, named after Pushkin (Moscow), in many private collections in Armenia and abroad.
