Artist, architect

He was born on the 14th of July in 1957 (Tbilisi, Georgia) in the writer's family.

In 1981, he graduated from the Polytechnic Institute (department of architecture) and began his professional career.

From 1983 to 1985, he headed an architectural studio, where he developed a project for the reconstruction of the old Tbilisi center (Batumi, Zugdidi). 

In 1988, he became the member of the Union of architects of the USSR. In 1990, won the award of the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Tbilisi. In 1991, he was the direct organizer of the architectural Biennale in Tbilisi, and then he was invited to the technical University in Atlanta (USA).

In 1993, Tamaz graduated from the postgraduate course, the theme was “Country house”. Along with his scientific work, he taught at the Architectural Institute and created an art union of talented students. 

In 1993, he became the member of the international Federation of artists.

From 2000 to 2007, he worked as chief architect in various design organizations in Moscow.

From 2002 to 2003, he headed the architectural department at “INCOM” real estate Corporation. His work profile was the suburban construction, such as elite settlements in the Istra district, Sherwood, Velednikovo, Borki.

In 2003, Tamaz developed the concept of reconstruction of the school of the Navy in St. Petersburg, as well as the concept of Rehabilitation and sanatorium complex in Sochi (the company "STROYENGINEERING).

In 2004, Tamaz won the award of the magazine "Modern House" in the competition «Alphabet of suburban construction” in Moscow.

In 2007, the artist moved to Kiev. He is the Chief Architect in the architectural Studio "RED HOUSE". Under the direction of Tamaz Gogoladze, a Multifunctional complex is being developed in Berdichev, Zhytomirskaya region.

In addition to architectural activities, Tamaz Gogoladze works intensively as a professional painter. He is the author of personal exhibitions.
